Our nursery receives the Government’s Education Provider Grant for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds. This covers 15 or 30 hours of subsidised early education.
The grant funds 38 weeks per year, which equals:
- 570 hours for 15 hours per week
- 1,140 hours for 30 hours per week
To spread costs evenly, we divide these total yearly hours over 52 weeks:
- 15 hrs/week over 52 weeks = 11 hrs/week
- 30 hrs/week over 52 weeks = 22 hrs/week
This grant helps fund high quality, flexible childcare but does not cover all operational costs like food, supplies, etc. Therefore, additional fees apply for consumables that enrich your child’s experience.
Optional services like swimming lessons, Spanish and Dance lessons are also fee-based to cover transportation and instruction costs. These help supplement the curriculum.
Once a child turns 2, 3 or 4 and qualifies for the grant, we reduce fees accordingly on a monthly basis.

About the Fees
- Monthly invoices are provided through the EY Log app.
- Payment options include: standing order, tax-free childcare, cash, BACs, or government grants.
- Nursery Fees is due on the 1st of each month for that month’s care. If payment is late by 1 month, your child’s place cannot be guaranteed and a £2 daily late fee will apply.
- Full tuition is charged for holidays, bank holidays, and sick days when we are open.
- We are open 51 weeks per year (closed 1 week at Christmas) but tuition is divided into 52 weekly payments. Bank holidays are payable.
- 4 weeks written notice is required to vacate a spot.
- On-time pickup is required at the end of each session. A £5 late fee per 15 minutes applies after closing to compensate the 2 staff members who must stay with your child.
