My name is Rachel Critchley and I am delighted to introduce myself as the new owner of Tender Years Day Nursery.  My husband Mike and I, have two daughters, Pippa and Petra Rose and we currently live on the outskirts of Chorley.

I have been a qualified secondary school teacher for 16 years’ and progressed to Head of Faculty and Management.  In my latter years of teaching, I was given the opportunity to teach and develop the Childcare curriculum within the school.  Being a mother of two daughters it became a natural progression into Early Years Education and sparked a passion to further this enthusiasm to work and operate a children’s nursery.

I am passionate about children’s development to care for and provide them with the best learning opportunities and prepare them for the transition to Primary School.  My team and I at Tender Years Day Nursery, are here to assist your child in their learning journey giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm, homely and caring environment.
